Ensure that activities of CAF and researchers comply with law and regulations, and meet ethical standards

Communicate and coordinate with IO, CAF director, AV and OHS advisor

Deal with animal welfare concerns

Review animal protocols and give permission to use animals for scientific purposes

Perform post approval monitoring (PAM) of research projects

Perform facility inspections and program review (FIPR)
